Once you bring bunches of garden grown flowers into your home – you’ll never go a summer without them!

I know, as you begin to imagine the triple digits on the horizon, “breezy” is not the first word that comes to mind! In a hot desert climate, many people think that a summer cut flower garden is just not possible – but I’m here to tell you it is!

What to grow?

When looking at seed packets and nursery aisles – the choices can me overwhelming!

Because I love to bring flowers from the outside in – I like to think of what I would like to have in an arrangement when planning my garden.

I know that I will need focal flowers, supporting flowers, foliage, and some wispy bits to add movement!

In just a 4×6 garden bed I can fit all the annuals I need for beautiful summer bouquets! If there is more space available, simply repeat using different varieties and colors!
